NATURE ART CAMP
NAMPA (Kingfisher Trail) – June 22-25
9:00-12:00

Each day of this camp pairs a master nature artist with the living landscape of the Treasure Valley. Campers find local inspiration first – observing, sketching, collecting – then create using that artist’s technique as their guide. From watercolor skies to botanical field plates to bold Expressionist painting, every day ends with something beautiful made entirely from what they found outside.

No prior art experience needed. Just curiosity.

OUTDOOR SCIENCE LAB SUMMER CAMP
STAR – June 15-18
10:00-1:00

The best laboratory is outside! Over four days, campers become real scientists by forming hypotheses, running experiments, and figuring out why things work the way they do. They build and erupt mud volcanoes, launch pop top rockets, make ice cream using phase change chemistry, create clouds in a jar, and build their own anemometers to measure wind speed.

IDAHO FRONTIER DAYS SUMMER CAMP
STAR – July 27-30
9:30-12:30

Idaho has a remarkable story, and your child gets to live it for four days. Each day of this camp steps into a different chapter of Idaho history. Campers tie knots and build a trapper’s basecamp like the mountain men of the 1820s, write trail journals and make hardtack like Oregon Trail emigrants, learn traditional plant knowledge and oral storytelling from the perspective of Idaho’s First Peoples, and churn butter and design a homestead plan like the families who built the Treasure Valley.
